I’ve been fortunate to make friends and share experiences with many hunters across the nation. While the game they pursue and the methods they use vary widely, the most successful hunters I know have one thing in common: They scout early and often. It doesn’t matter if it’s turkeys or elk; the hunters who consistently fill their tags spend more time finding areas that hold game than hunting places that do not.
