The lights are on. The music is blasting. It’s Saturday night on the Long Island Sound, and I’m not sure what to expect as I step onto Capt. Greg Dubrule’s party boat, the Blackhawk, in Niantic, Conn. In fact, I’m late. I’d rushed out of New York City and slammed into bumper-to-bumper traffic. By the time I get to the launch, everyone else is onboard. I run across the parking lot with my Muck boots in one hand and a notebook in the other. Before I can even get to the ramp, I hear Dubrule’s voice over the boat’s intercom. “There he is, everybody. The man we’ve been waiting for.
