Mossberg’s new Silver Reserve Eventide just might be the perfect turkey gun.

Pumps and semi-autos dominate the turkey woods from coast to coast, but with the introduction of the Silver Reserve Eventide, Mossberg is making a strong case that over-unders have their place as well. The reasons hunters typically eschew a double gun for turkeys include weight and limited round capacity. While the Silver Reserve Eventide can’t solve the latter, it has addressed the former. With 20-inch barrels, each of the three versions (12-, 20- and 28-gauge) weighs less than 7 pounds. Those short barrels make the gun quite handy in tight spots, too.
