MAKING A SPLASH

Limited IP ratings meant we didn’t submerge all of the devices, so we performed a splash test to save rendering them unusable. This test should show how well a device will hold up in the rain, and other moisture, in small doses.

Open ports leave it susceptible to a high amount of liquid getting in and causing damage despite being splashproof. LG G5 The modular nature of the LG smartphone doesn’t lend itself well to dealing with liquid. While specialised rubber seals are in place, small amounts of liquid can squeeze in and wreck havoc on its insides. MOTO X FORCE The Force’s durability is second to none, and while it isn’t completely submergible, like the Galaxy S7, sealed port entries and its metal lining helps the device cope well when dealing with a small amount of liquid.
