As handy as GlocalMe is, most of us have probably managed on holiday without one, and kept the phone bills down. Still, if it’s the convenience that you’re interested in over saving money, knowing that you can get a reliable signal when travelling can be invaluable. The GlocalMe is a great gadget for staying connected, especially on business trips. Buying a local SIM, if you’re sticking around for more than a few days, doesn’t offer the reliability that this gadget does, but if cost is a concern, be aware that the upfront cost of the GlocalMe G2, and subsequent €0.50 per 10-megabytes charge means only frequent tech travellers will get their money’s worth.…
