Cold and Warm Creatures

Reptiles like snakes, turtles, lizards, and crocodiles sure look different from you on the outside, don’t they? But they are different from you inside too. One of the biggest differences is that all reptiles are COLD BLOODED, and you are WARM BLOODED. What does this mean? Because YOUR blood is warm, it is always about the same temperature, about 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. Unless you are sick with a fever, that is. If you took a REPTILE’S temperature, it would be the same temperature as the air around the animal. If the air is warm, its blood is warm. If the air is cold, its blood is cold. You can do a very simple experiment to prove that you are warm blooded, and you don’t even have to take your temperature.…
