The film’s creators talk us through all of the latest looks in the new movie!

“She’s still Elsa, she’s still Frozen, but she’s got a little bit of warmth.” Elsa Brittney Lee (Visual Development Artist): For Elsa’s nightgown (left), [Production Designer] Mike [Giaimo] wanted initially to skew a little bit warmer, but anything that we tried was too warm for her, post-“Let It Go.” So it’s an ombre, more red on top and more blue on the bottom, to hint there’s this ice on the base of the nightgown, and she’s still Elsa, she’s still Frozen, but she’s got a little bit of warmth to hopefully reflect the warmth of the environment that she’s in with her family. Whatever Elsa was wearing needed to reflect her ability to go through a lot of different [environments]. We had to lift her hemline off the floor, and…
