Scotland’s ‘Inch Gnome Island’ is home to a growing population of little people

Inchcolm Island, a tiny uninhabited rocky outcrop in the Firth of Forth in Scotland, is home to an ever-increasing population of garden gnomes. They first appeared in 2010, and according to tourist boat skipper Scott Aston, “Nobody knows how they got there or why they are there – but they seem to multiply every winter,” adding that they have proved very amusing to his clients.
