UNUSUAL WAYS OF SHUFFLING OFF THIS MORTAL COIL

After a farming couple in their 80s living in Waitakere, near Auckland, New Zealand, had not contacted relatives for several days, their son went to investigate. He found the couple dead in a sheep paddock, apparently having been killed by one of the animals. Police believe a ram was responsible for their deaths as when they attempted to retrieve the bodies it reportedly “confronted” them and they were forced to shoot the animal to be able to gain access to the field. It is thought the man had gone to the paddock to check on the animals and had been attacked and killed by the ram, and that his wife met with a similar fate when she went to look for him.
