THE GHOSTS OF J6 The upcoming US election will, as observers have pointed out, include a number of firsts: the first candidate who is technically a convicted felon; the first black woman (and simultaneously the first woman of Indian heritage); and the first descendant of the doomed Kennedy generation. It will be unprecedented in another way too; all the candidates carry conspiratorial baggage. Robert Kennedy Junior, assuming he makes it that far (that’s obviously not meant as an ominous Nostradamus-esque stage whisper) will bring the legacy of two famous – and famously disputed – assassinations to the voting booths.
