UNUSUAL WAYS OF SHUFFLING OFF THIS MORTAL COIL

When six guests at the Grand Hyatt Erawan hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, failed to check out on time, staff went to their rooms to investigate. They found all six guests dead in the room booked by Sherine Chong, 56, with a meal untouched on the table. The victims were Chong, plus Dang Hung Van, 55, Thi Nguyen Phuong, 46, Hong Pham Thanh, 49, Thi Nguyen Phuong Lan, 47, and Dinh Tran Phu, 37, all of Vietnamese descent. Police believed they had died about 24 hours before their discovery. There were no bruises or injuries on the bodies and no sign of a struggle, but all the victims had apparently died in agony, foaming at the mouth.
