DEMON ELVIS FT77:15: In 1994 Shirley Fitzgerald, 31, claimed that a demon disguised as Elvis was haunting her flat in Tilson Gardens on the Clapham Park Estate in south London. The apparition first appeared in Shirley’s living room where it was seen by her neighbour Josie Corfield, who said: “[I] saw what I thought was Elvis across the sitting room. I started screaming and crying… I couldn’t see its eyes. Then it changed into a white figure. It all lasted for about two minutes.” Oddly, the demon did not appear to Shirley as a vision of the King; instead she saw a five-month-old fœtus hovering in the kitchen and black smoke in the living room.
