Scouting for forteans?

Facing the bus station, the Bridlington Shopping Centre – The Promenades – has several panels designed and created by the local scout group. It brightens up an otherwise boring red brick wall. These panels feature local tourist spots, landmarks and activities of the scouting organisation. The first time I’d sat, waiting for a bus, I’d noticed one… interesting panel. At the centre of the panel is a couple comfortable in a tent, appearing warm and safe. However when you look at it more you see: bear tracks, the Gruffallo, a mysterious cave with coloured paths from it, a weirdly humanoid wolf, two glowing eyes staring from a bole in a tree, a little grey bug-eyed being, a Nessie-style river snake… and next to the tent – Slenderman!
