Shots in the dark My daughter works in Australia but comes home to the UK regularly. In August 2023, she happened to be staying in a hotel in Sydney for a week. It was the time of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. On the evening of the 16 August she went to bed around 11pm. She remembers feeling exhausted, putting a sleep mask on and dropping off around 11.30pm. The next morning, she was “completely freaked out” to find just over 500 photographs and short video clips on her iPhone 14 Pro, none of which she’d taken herself.
