While time slips are reported from all over the world, there is one place where they are reported almost more than all the others put together. This is Bold Street in Liverpool. Bold Street was originally one of the city’s ropewalks, the length being used to measure rope for sailing ships. The city merchants had houses on the street, then when the suburbs became more attractive to them, the area was turned over to shops. It was described as the Bond Street of the North due to the high end goods that were sold there.
