RIPPING YARN The Scottish Sun, 2 Feb 2025, published a lovely story entitled “UFO hunter slams Scots museum bosses over rejecting bizarre exhibit”. This was about an infamous pair of trousers ripped by aliens (FT31:30, 56:48, 64:9, 189:29, 223:26, 273:26, 411:46-47). As Scottish UFO research Malcolm Robinson explains: “These trousers were worn by a forestry worker [Bob Taylor] back in 1979 when he went about his day job in Dechmont Woods near Livingston, Central Scotland. His testimony was that he encountered a large dome-shaped UFO in a clearing in the woods where, soon after, two spherical devices descended from beneath the larger craft, impacted on the ground, then rushed towards him grabbing him by rod-like extensions at his hips, tearing the trousers in the process.
