Pero sus padres no los escucharon y terminó en un tratamiento especial de tipo familiar. “Estos trastornos requieren que luches contra tu cerebro muchas veces al día”, dice Saffran (32). “No solo es ineficaz, sino también un poco mezquino pedirle a la gente que lo traten solos”. En 2019, se asoció con la psicóloga Erin Parks para fundar Equip, que ofrece terapia centrada en la familia para los trastornos alimentarios que es virtual por diseño, ya que es más fácil para los niños mejorar y mantenerse mejor en casa. Hasta la fecha, Equip tiene contratos con 25 aseguradoras y ayudó a más de 5.000 pacientes.…
