Ora le celle solari si possono anche stampare. L’Università di Toronto (Canada) ha inventato un metodo per fabbricare moduli fotovoltaici a basso costo. Mentre oggi per trattare le celle in silicio occorrono temperature superiori ai 1.000 °C (con tempi e costi elevati), un’équipe canadese guidata da Hairen Tan è riuscita a creare celle solari in perovskite, un minerale contenente ossido di titanio: i suoi sottili cristalli possono essere mescolati in un liquido e stampati su qualsiasi supporto (vetro o plastica) usando una stampante a getto di inchiostro a una temperatura inferiore a 150 °C. Le celle così ottenute hanno un’efficienza pari al 20,1% e dopo 500 ore di produzione le prestazioni decadono solo del 10%.…
