Ja, alles ist im Wandel. Aber ist das wirklich so negativ? Gewinnen wir nicht auch etwas, wenn wir uns hier und da einschränken müssen, weniger konsumieren? Mehr Freiheit zum Beispiel, mehr Verbindung untereinander und Zufriedenheit?

Meine Eltern wohnen in Frankreich auf dem Land. Es gibt dort keinen Supermarkt in der Nähe. Also esse ich, wenn ich zu Besuch bin, was Kühl- und Vorratsschrank hergeben. Da das Haus keine Zentralheizung hat, muss man an kühlen Morgenden den Kamin anheizen, während der Kaffee köchelt. Wenn ich dort mal andere Menschen sehen möchte, hole ich das alte Fahrrad aus dem Schuppen und radele ins Dorf unten an der Straße. Das Schöne ist, dass ich bei meinen Eltern immer ganz ruhig werde, gerade weil dort alles so einfach und nichts los ist. Wie kommt das? Geht’s mir mit weniger besser?
