Erst hat sich Elisa Klinkenberg auf dem Tennisplatz behauptet, heute mischt sie den Kunstmarkt auf. Der größte Druck kommt von ihr selbst. Das Malen hilft ihr, die eigenen Ansprüche loszulassen

ELISA KLINKENBERG (geb. 1989 in Rüdersdorf bei Berlin) ist Künstlerin, Autorin und ehemalige Profisportlerin. Bis 2011 bestand ihr Alltag aus Tennis, als eine schwere Verletzung den Traum von einer Karriere beendete. Danach fing sie an, Aquarelle zu malen, 2019 erschien ihr Buch Watercolor Wald – 20 Motive in Aquarell malen. Seit 2021 malt sie in ihrem Atelier am Müggelsee vor allem abstrakte Bilder, die sie selbst bei Instagram (@elisaklinkenberg) verkauft. Vergangenheit „MIR WURDE GESAGT, ICH SEI ZU KLEIN, UM ERFOLGREICH TENNIS ZU SPIELEN. DA WOLLTE ICH ES UMSO MEHR.“ Wenn ich an meine Kindheit zurückdenke, habe ich vor allem schöne Erinnerungen.
