DENNIS GASTMANN (geb. 1978 in Osnabrück) hat als Journalist, Schriftsteller und Korrespondent der ARD-Auslandsmagazine alle Kontinente bereist. Für seine Sendereihe Mit 80 000 Fragen um die Welt traf er sich mit Hexerinnen und Oligarchen und drang mit seinen neugierig-charmanten Fragen tief unter deren Oberfläche. Seine Reportagen sind mehrfach preisgekrönt. Zuletzt erschien sein Erzählband Der blaue Lampion (Rowohlt Berlin). Vergangenheit „ICH WAR VON ANFANG AN EIN SEHR NEUGIERIGER MENSCH UND NAHM ALLES, WAS MAN MIR ZEIGTE ODER ERKLÄRTE, AUF WIE EIN TRICHTER.“ Vielleicht wurde mir mein Fernweh in die Wiege gelegt – zumindest ein wenig.
