EL PIONERO DE LA COHETERÍA REALIZABA RITUALES OCULTISTAS POR LAS NOCHES Nuestro singular protagonista vino al mundo un 2 de octubre de 1914 en Los Ángeles y fue bautizado con el nombre de Marvel Whiteside Parsons. Su padre era Marvel H. Parsons y su madre Ruth Whiteside, quienes no tardaron en divorciarse por las infidelidades del primero. Debido a ello, Ruth dejó de llamar al niño «Marvel» y lo rebautizó como «John», razón por la que existe cierta confusión con su nombre. Con los años, la familia acabaría llamándolo «Jack», y es así como es más conocido en la actualidad. Parece que su infancia fue inestable, siendo acosado por otros chicos.
