1 THE PENGUIN (OUT 17 MARCH, DVD/BR) Colin Farrell deservedly won an Emmy for his incredibly layered turn as the Batman villain who swaps his soul for social climbing in Gotham. Never mind the (astonishing) prosthetics — feel the pathos as Farrell and showrunner Lauren LeFranc manipulate you into rooting for a monster. 2 YOJIMBO & SANJURO (OUT 17 MARCH, BR) You can never go wrong with an Akira Kurosawa/Toshirô Mifune double bill, and the BFI have duly obliged with this pair of wonderful samurai flicks. Yojimbo, in which Mifune plays two warring factions like a harp, is the best-known and most influential, but the lighter, more playful Sanjuro is an utter delight. 3 WICKED (OUT NOW, DVD/BR/4K/DIGITAL) Do you really like it?
