Reise Echt, ich kann nicht mehr. Die Straßen sind saueng, der automatische Spurhalter piepst ständig, und ich habe das Gefühl, gleich frontal gegen den nächsten efeuberankten Strommasten zu donnern. Uns hängen fünf Autos an der Stoßstange, dabei ist heute „national slow down day“, wie wir zuvor an der Autobahn von Dublin in den Südwesten Irlands in Leichtschrift erfahren haben. Da waren die Straßen noch normal breit. Ich muss raus aus dem Auto. Sofort. „Ich kann nichts für die engen Straßen hier“, raunzt mich mein fahrender Mann an und heizt weiter. „Wenn ich hier 80 fahren darf, fahr ich auch 80.“ Boah, der Linksverkehr macht mich fertig. „Nicht streiten“, kommt es von der Rückbank, da sind sich Jonathan, 3, und Paul, 5, einig.
