Viele Eltern kennen es: Ihr Baby hat mal weniger Appetit, mal mehr. Es schläft mal schlechter, mal besser. Und manchmal ist es eine Zeit lang anhänglicher als sonst und scheint sensibler auf seine Umwelt zu reagieren. Heutige Eltern nehmen das nicht nur mit einem Seufzer zur Kenntnis, sondern kennen auch den Grund für dieses Auf und Ab: Das Kind macht einen Entwicklungssprung durch. Oje, ich wachse! Diese seelischen Wachstumsphasen werden dann auf praktisch jeder Elternseite im Internet beschrieben, samt dazugehörigem Zeitfenster: Der erste Wachstumsschub beginnt mit der fünften Woche, der zweite mit der achten Woche, dann geht es weiter in Woche 12, 19, 26, 37, 46 und 55. Die Sprünge dauern eine Woche, manchmal auch etwas länger. Und sie kündigen sich schon Tage, manchmal sogar Wochen vorher an. Kein Wunder…
