ELTERN: „Wer bin ich, wenn ich nicht alleinerziehend bin?“ heißt dein aktuelles Buch. Der Titel legt nahe, dass das Alleinerziehendsein wie ein Stempel alle anderen Aspekte des eigenen Lebens überschatten kann. Du bist selbst alleinerziehend. Nimmst du das so wahr? Caroline UHl: Ich denke, die Situation von Alleinerziehenden ist sehr divers, auch abhängig davon, ob ich seit der Geburt meines Kindes alleinerziehend bin, ob ich durch eine Trennung oder den Tod meines Partners alleinerziehend wurde und auch, wie viele Kinder ich habe. Ich selbst hin seit der Gehurt meines Sohnes alleinerziehend und kann natürlich längst nicht für alle sprechen. Was ich jedoch wahrnehme, ist, dass der Begriff des Alleinerziehendseins nach wie vor vorurteilsbehaftetist, Und das Muttersein an sich empfinde ich auch oft als sehr einnehmend.
