ELTERN: Liebe Judith, wir treffen uns in deiner Arbeitswohnung - ist das sprichwörtliche „Zimmer für mich“, über das auch Virginia Woolf geschrieben hat, das, was eine Künstlerin unbedingt braucht, um arbeiten zu können? Judith Holofernes: Ja, absolut. Im Buch beschreibe ich ja auch, wie ich ein Jahr damit zugebracht habe, mir zu Hause ein kleines, aber sehr schönes Arbeitszimmer einzurichten - und dann gemerkt habe, dass das nicht funktioniert. Unter anderem, weil kleine Kinder nicht wissen, wann sie die Türe aufmachen dürfen und wann nicht. Zumindest bei ihren Müttern. Wenn mein Mann seine Zimmertür zumacht, geht da niemand rein.
