Unsere Autorin Nina Kämpf nahm sich mit ihrer Familie eine Auszeit auf Teneriffa. Erst nach acht Wochen kamen sie wieder nach Hause – verloren jedoch ein Stück ihres Herzens an die Kanareninsel

Er kann erst seit wenigen Wochen seine Schritte voreinander setzen. Wenn er geht, wippt er noch lustig hin und her und gleicht seine Unsicherheit mit seinen Armen aus, die er weit von seinem Körper streckt. Wie ein Pinguin läuft unser einjähriger Sohn Bruno das erste Mal in seinem Leben barfuß durch den Sand, ab ans Meer. Ich stehe hinter ihm und beobachte, wie er quietschend seine Schwester nachmacht, die schon am Wasser angekommen ist. Wenn meine Augen nicht selbst mit Glückstränen volllaufen würden, würde ich erkennen, dass auch meine vierjährige Tochter Alma eine Träne aus dem Auge läuft. „Mama, Papa, es ist so schön hier. Ich liebe Teneriffa!“, singt sie in ihrer höchsten Tonlage und spritzt mit dem Fuß Wasser nach uns. Teneriffa, du hast unser Herz im Sturm erobert!…
