Als mein Baby noch sehr klein war und ich sehr müde, habe ich mal eine Straftat begangen. Es war eigentlich keine große Sache. So groß wie ein Sechserkarton Eier, um genau zu sein - und es passierte beim Einkaufen. Ich hatte mal wieder eine dieser Nächte hinter mir, in denen man eigentlich überhaupt nicht schläft, weil man stundenlang versucht, das Baby zum Schlafen zu bewegen. So schlurfte ich jedenfalls komplett übermüdet durch die Gänge des Supermarktes und benutzte dabei den Kinderwagen als Einkaufswagen. Planlos legte ich in dem Kind Bananen und Knäckebrot ans Bein-Ende, andere Sachen packte ich in den kleinen Korb unterhalb des Wagens. Ich kaufte ein wie in Trance.
