Woods worked with the Finland star on a daily basis in training then spent matchdays with a front-row seat as Sinisalo shone.
And the ex-Aberdeen and Kilmarnock shot-stopper insists he wasn't in the slightest bit surprised to see Sinisalo win a £1million move to Celtic off the back of his heroics on loan from Aston Villa.
Woods, 34, is confident the 23-year-old is ready to step into the breach for Celtic with current No.1 Kasper Schmeichel injured.
