Approximately 11,000 North Korean troops were sent to help Putin months ago, although they have been poorly equipped and trained. South Korean joint chiefs assessed that around 4000 of them have been killed or injured.
According to Seoul, North Korea has sent Russia a "considerable amount" of short-range ballistic missiles, 170mm self-propelled howitzers and around 220 units of 240mm multiple rocket launchers.
