Now the 19-year-old is hell-bent on showing he's a man for the big occasion after his loan team-mates teed him up for a first showpiece.

On pulling off a cup double, with parent club Hearts through to the final four in the Scottish, he said: "It'd be nice. When I came here it was the semi-finals so the boys did most of the hard work before me.
"The boys have been all right about not reminding me of that but I'm sure they will soon!
"We've been knocked out first round the last three years at Hearts (the B team) so it's not been great experiences so far. All times it was Highland League sides. We played Hamilton a few years back in the second round but apart from that it has not been great going.
"This is the furthest I've been in the competition. You want to be part of cup finals and I've been told you don't get many. So to get one so early it's good and hopefully I can show Hearts I can play in the big games. It's my first final so I'll have a few people there.
