Pop heroes' lyric saved my life at darkest moment

Stephen Reside, 31, from Cambuslang, was battling depression and drink addiction because of his cerebral palsy.
And he had made plans to take his own life in 2018.
He recalled: "My mates were in relationships and married while I was feeling miles away from that. I ended up in a rut and wanted to end it all."
But listening to The 1975's album A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships gave Stephen the hope to go on.
The lyric, "Your death won't happen to you, it happens to your family and your friends" in track I Always Wanna Die (Sometimes) forced him to think about his family.
