A SHOOTING yesterday in Edinburgh may be linked to gangsters who are "actively targeting each other" over stolen stash of cocaine.
A window was blasted at a ground floor flat in West Pilton Bank at about 7.55am yesterday.
Officers have launched a probe into the incident and confirmed that they believe this was another targeted attack.
The ongoing feud is believed to have started after a “Mr Big” gangster based in Dubai had a stash of cocaine stolen.
It is believed he is behind firebombings on businesses whose owners have previously been linked to notorious drug kingpin Mark Richardson.

The shooting in West Pilton comes the day after three shots were aimed at a house at Niddrie Marischal Crescent on Thursday morning.

Pictures taken from the scene of the latest shooting at West Pilton show a window smashed by what appears to be a bullet. Other images show uniformed officers standing guard at a large cordon outside the flat.
Detective Inspector Alison MacDonald appealed to anyone with information on yesterday's firearms incident to come forward.
