Simon's buzzer double trouble

Despite fearing it could get him fired, Simon said he was so impressed with one act on tonight's show that he could not resist.
"I just had to," he said. "I mean, it was a no brainer.
"They weren't expecting it because there was this silence for a moment and then it went gold and the confetti started to fall down. I was laughing because I was thinking I'd probably get fired, because we'd been told no more golden buzzers! But you know what? It's worth it!
