Prosecutors have called for Mehdi Nemmouche, 39, one of five men believed to have preyed on hostages including David, 44, to be sentenced to at least 22 years in prison.
The six-week trial in Paris has been watched by David's daughter Bethany, 27, who is determined to find his remains.
