THE search to cast a new James Bond has taken a twist after it emerged producer Barbara Broccoli is considering a relative unknown.
Mike Dickman, who has had small parts in Barbie and Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny, had a meeting with the 007 producer who was keen on him auditioning.
The 40-year-old actor, who is the longtime partner of Heather Mills, met up with Broccoli last year to discuss a separate work opportunity with her firm EON. Insiders claim that during this meeting, the subject of Bond came up and Broccoli urged him to send her an audition tape.
A source said: “The two of them met up in London last January, and it was a very cordial meeting about something unrelated during which Barbara brought up Bond.
