The Prince of Wales was in Estonia, listening to first-hand accounts from courageous youngsters forced by the Russian invasion to flee Ukraine.
William, in the Baltic state for two days to visit British troops stationed on the Nato frontline, told of his admiration for Ukraine as it battles to repel Vladimir Putin's invaders.
Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022 in a major escalation of the Russo-Ukrainian War, which had started in 2014 with Russia's annexation of the Crimean peninsula.

On a trip to The Freedom School in the Estonian capital Tallinn, set up in the wake of an influx of 60,000 Ukrainians to the country, William was given a friendship band in Ukraine's colours by Yelyzaveta Lukiianchuk, 18.
He also played basketball with students and learnt to say - admittedly not very confidently - good afternoon in both the Estonian and Ukrainian languages. He said: This is going to be very confusing, I need a whole year of these lessons!
Becoming more serious, William also told pupils: "Ukrainian resilience is everywhere.
