THE beaming Princess of Wales looked in clover at the traditional St Patrick's Day parade yesterday, after missing last year's due to her cancer diagnosis.
Wearing a bottle green coat, percher hat and shamrock brooch, Kate as colonel of the regiment joined the Irish Guards to celebrate its 125th anniversary.
The future queen appeared delighted as she took the salute from soldiers at the Wellington Barracks in central London and put some money behind the bar to buy them drinks.
The princess presented operational medals to soldiers recently deployed in Iraq and also awarded long-service and good-conduct medals to two soldiers during a ceremony in the officers' mess.
