Tech scandal MSP's £300k payday

The ex-health secretary has announced he will not seek re-election when Scots next go to the polls.
The veteran Nationalist will have earned £298,640 in his MSP and former cabinet secretary's salary from January 2023, until when he stands down in April 2026.
He resigned as a cabinet minister in February last year after racking up a £11,000 data roaming bill on a parliamentary iPad while in Morocco with his family. He later claimed the bill was caused by doing parliamentary work while on holiday and tried to get the costs covered by his expenses.
