Footage of the graffiti being painted was posted online by a group called Islas de Resistencia, one of several Mediterranean anti-tourist groups that have sprung up. Last week, in Tenerife, a video showed activists torching hire cars.
And there was hostility to travellers last month in Ibiza, when boulders were used to block a popular viewing spot on the island. At least 15 groups from hotspots in Spain, Portugal, Italy and France will meet in Barcelona next month to plot more action.
