Trump backer's £4bn UK boost

A US tech giant founded by one of the world's richest men yesterday announced a near £4billion investment in the UK.
IT heavyweight Oracle unveiled the five-year commitment to tap into a rollout of artificial intelligence here.
Oracle was started by tycoon Larry Ellison, whose fortune has been put at £130billion.
The 80-year-old has been one of US President Donald Trumps biggest backers and is also a close ally of Elon Musk.
Oracle refused to reveal many further details of where the $5billion would be spent, apart from that it was to “meet the rapidly growing demand for its cloud services in the UI
Cloud computing has become huge business - with Amazon another leading provider ~ as firms transfer data storage and processing to third-party companies to save money and speed up tasks.
