We want to be in this position, as far ahead as possible. But that doesn't mean it's ok to lose matches. We know this performance wasn't good enough
It was more like a group who had turned up at the airport only to realise they'd booked the wrong flights.
Or perhaps a travelling party whod packed the Speedos for the beach, only to discover they were going on a ski trip.
Either way Celtic were not their usual selves at Parkhead yesterday as Rangers enjoyed a rare day out across the city.
There was a sense of one side feeling the need to win and the other knowing it didn't really matter too much. A 16-point lead can do that to a team.
Well, 13 now, but it's still enough of a gap that would require Carol Vorderman to use one big number and five small ones to work out how it could be narrowed.

They took a sore one at Ibrox at Christmas but responded by reeling off a seven-game run that pretty much put this squad in the title departure lounge.
A quietly seething Rodgers - stewing on his first home derby defeat -is demanding a similar response this time.
Carter-Vickers said: "We wanted to do that before this game. After this game we want to do the same.
"Obviously we've got a comfortable lead, and that's good. It shows the good work we've done up to this point. But we definitely want to continue until the end of the season.
Our performance today was not good enough and we've got to improve.
“Obviously, the manager told us how he felt about the game. At half-time he said it wasn't good enough. Second half was a bit better, obviously we scored two goals.
“But to concede at the end was obviously disappointing.”
It’s become a worr...
