Christopher Potter died after he was hit by two cars in Besiktas last Thursday, prior to the Ibrox side's 3-1 victory over Fenerbahce in Turkey.
The 40-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. His children, Jak, 20, Millie, 13, and Teddy, six, and wife Holly were invited to the second leg of the match at Ibrox for a special tribute.
Goalie Jack Butland reached out to the family to meet up with Teddy and was seen cuddling him after the game.
Christopher's devastated widow said her family were overwhelmed as thousands of Rangers fans paid tribute with a roaring applause during the 40th minute of the game. Banners were held up in his memory which read: "With the angels you'll be singing, our very special friend. Christopher Potter 1984-2025".
