Kelly, 32, checked in as a free agent a fortnight ago after a move to Indonesia didn't pan out.
His introduction off the bench in Tuesday's 2-0 win over Queen's Park were Kelly's first minutes of 2025. Brian Graham's fourth-placed Jags face Ayr today and the defender said: "I'd a close relation-ship with Brian at Ross County, so it was a no-brainer to get back into it and help out as much as I can."
