Rockers have travelled from far-flung places such as Barbados, Palestine and South Africa to Kirriemuir, in Angus, for Bonfest, which celebrates the birthplace and life of late founding member Bon Scott.
The team behind Bonfest, now in its 19th year, were stunned while scouring ticket data to realise the global reach of the event over the last three years.
And with the legendary band set to return to Scotland for the first time in a decade, later this summer, organisers believe they are set for their best year yet.
Scott Ferguson, manager at DD8 Music, the charity behind the rock festival, said: "When we looked at the list of tickets sold since 2023, there were countries I hadn't even heard of and it was a real surprise to see people coming from the likes of Barbados.

"This year we've even had a travel company contact us from Switzerland, so we're working with them to bring 29 people over from there. It’s quite insane.
"It's like a pilgrimage for many of these people. If you're a diehard Bon Scott or AC/DC fan, this is where it all began.
"The statue we put up a few years ago of Bon has become an iconic thing, not just in Scotland but worldwide.
