Donatella stands down as Versace head after 30yrs

The 69-year-old will continue at the Italian firm, which was founded by her brother Gianni in 1978, as chief brand ambassador and will be replaced by Dario Vitale as chief creative officer.
She took over the role after her brother was murdered in 1997 and has shaped the brand's modern identity, creating designs loved by stars such as Dua Lipa, Angelina Jolie and Sabrina Carpenter.
