Syrian premier's peace call as 745 civilians die

The Uk-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said about 745 civilians were killed in 30 massacres against the Alawite Muslim sect on Friday and Saturday.
It is believed to have been the worst death toll since the fall of the Assad regime in December. In Damascus, the interim leader Ahmed al-Sharaa said: "We must preserve national unity and civil peace as much as possible.”
