Here she comes again: Dolly's jolly as she hides pain of loss

The grieving country music icon, 79, had been with husband Carl Dean for more than 60 years when the businessman died this month aged 82. Earlier this week, Dolly made her first public appearance since his death, surprising fans by turning up at her Dollywood theme park.
Days later she was in Nashville for Threads: Songs in Symphony, which tells stories of her life through her hit music. She said: "The songs are all special to me. Just hearing them all done, and just hearing what the symphony and all the wonderful singers are going to do to them - that’s really what songwriters live for.
