Allen "Tiny" Stokes, who is in his 50s, has suffered complex post-traumatic stress disorder since leaving the French Foreign Legion.
After nearly 20 years living on the streets he discovered retreats designed to support people like him.
Now he is trying to raise £30,000 to start a camp of his own. He has already got over £8,000 cycling more than 300 miles with loyal Rocco from Bridport, Dorset, to Cornwall, where “the hills have been a challenge”.
